How to Remove Pages from PDF

Need to remove a sensitive page before sharing? Or delete blank pages from a scan? Our tool lets you visually select and delete unwanted pages instanty.

1

Upload Your PDF

Drag your file into the box. We will instantly list all the pages as numbers for you to review.

2

Select Pages to Delete

Click on the page numbers you want to remove. They will turn red to indicate they will be deleted. Click again to keep them.

3

Confirm and Save

Click "Delete Selected Pages". We create a new PDF file without the selected pages and download it to your device.

Privacy & Security

Deleting pages is often a privacy task—removing bank details from a statement or personal info from a form.

Server-Side Risks

On other sites, to delete one page, you have to upload the entire sensitive document to their server. They "promise" to delete it, but can you be sure?

The Andromeda Way

Your file never leaves your computer. The deletion happens in your browser memory. We couldn't see your data even if we wanted to.

Technical Insight: Orphaned Objects

When you delete a page in a PDF, a naive tool might just hide it. Andromeda PDF actually performs a structural prune.

We remove the page's reference node from the /Pages tree in the document catalog. We then do a garbage collection pass to strip the actual content streams (text/images) associated with that page, ensuring the data is truly gone and the file size shrinks.

When to Use This Tool

Cleaning Scans

Remove accidental blank pages or blurry mis-scans from a document packet.

Redacting Info

If a page contains confidential info you don't want to share, simply nuke the whole page.
